Creativity - the solution for homebound employees?
by Bart on Mar 6, 2024 10:51:05 AM
How do you tackle this?
You can encourage creativity in several ways. Start with a low threshold. For example, exchange ideas between departments by linking employees with different job profiles. This often leads to new insights or extra inspiration and immediately results in improved cooperation within your company.
A second option could be to get employees involved in something other than work. An online game, a webinar, a new course. By temporarily taking away the focus on work, new insights arise and of course you want to stimulate that creativity!
Take a close look at the current state
Now that everything is temporarily stagnating, you may also have the space and time to take a good look around you. What about the company culture, work processes, consultation structure or plans from the past. Can these be honed further, can they be quickly changed or re-implemented? A creative brainstorm offers new insights here, too.
Learning from mistakes
At Plek, we encourage the creation of specific groups, and fully encourage the input of new ideas into these from within the organisation. We believe that if you give your employees the right tools and some useful examples to share their input, creativity will flourish. Give employees the confidence and do not be afraid to try out new things, because you can learn from mistakes!
How do you make use of this period in your company? And what opportunities have you already seized? We are curious!
